Say what you’re actually looking for.

There’s a difference between being open to meeting people and wanting something serious. You’re allowed to say which.

Direct can still be warm “I’m looking for a serious relationship” doesn’t have to be a high-pressure statement. It can simply mean you want to meet someone with a similar direction. Meet a person before imagining a future A relaxed group introduction leaves space for a real conversation. Preferences help make the introduction practical. Chemistry and trust take their own time. Both people get to choose A shared goal doesn’t create an obligation. You can enjoy the evening and decide it isn’t the right fit. A connection works best when the next step is wanted on both sides.
